Whitby Paraphrase New Testament
Daniel Whitby (1638–1726) was a controversial English theologian and biblical commentator. An Arminian priest in the Church of England, Whitby was known as strongly anti-Calvinistic and later gave evidence of strong Arian and Unitarian tendencies. He first published A Paraphrase and Commentary on the New Testament in 1703 in London. The original edition of 1807 in the Fowler Bible Collection has been rebound in leather by The Printed Tree Bindery.
